Telangana CM, AP Governor Mourn Ex-CM Bhaskar Rao's Demise, Recall His Legacy
Telangana | Written by : IANSHyderabad, April (IANS) Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Andhra Pradesh Governor S. Abdul Nazeer and leaders cutting across party lines have condoled the death of former Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh Nadendla Bhaskar Rao.
The Telangana Chief Minister expressed his grief over the demise of Bhaskar Rao. He prayed to God that his soul attain peace and conveyed his deepest condolences to the family members.
Bhaskar Rao passed away on Wednesday at a private hospital in Hyderabad, following prolong illness. He was 90.
Former Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya visited Bhaskar Rao’s residence in Jubilee Hills to pay his last respects. He consoled Bhaskar Rao’s son and Andhra Pradesh Civil Supplies Minister Nadendla Manohar.
Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka also expressed his condolences. He stated that the services rendered by Bhaskar Rao over a long period as a Member of the Legislative Assembly, a Minister, and a Member of Parliament are truly memorable.
He termed Bhaskara Rao's demise as an irreparable loss to the state's politics.
Andhra Pradesh Governor Abdul Nazeer expressed profound grief and sadness on the passing of Bhaskara Rao, who served as a minister, Member of Parliament and as the 11th Chief Minister in united Andhra Pradesh for a brief period in 1984.
The Governor offered his heartfelt condolences to Nadendla Manohar and other family members.
YSR Congress Party President and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy called the demise of Bhaskar Rao heartbreaking. "I pray that his soul attains peace and that God grants courage to his family members during this difficult time," he said in a message on X.
Andhra Pradesh BJP President P.V.N. Madhav said that the untimely demise of Bhaskar Rao, a leader of the BJP, has caused profound shock. "Praying for his soul to attain eternal peace, I convey my deepest condolences to his family members," he said.
Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy also expressed profound grief over the passing of Bhaskar Rao.
Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, posted on X that the passing of Bhaskar Rao was shocking. He stated that losing Bhaskar Rao, who had special experience in politics, is an irreplaceable loss to the party. He extended his condolences and sympathy to his family members, close associates, and admirers.
