Hyderabad Drugs case reaches Apex Court

Mon, Sep 18 : Sravan,  an advocate, moved Supreme Court (SC), in Hyderabad Drugs Case, the investigation in which is going on at a snail's pace. Urging SC to hand over the case to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the petitioner said that no action has been taken in the case, despite allegations of involvement of big wigs.

Stating that SC guidelines in the control of drugs were not being followed at all, he urged the Apex Court to ban hookah centres and night clubs. Meanwhile, SC has notified the Centre, directing it to submit details of action taken against use of drugs. The hearing in the case has been put off to November 20th.
